Plotting and Planning

I ran into a teeny roadblock in fulfilling my New Year's resolution to work in my garden for at least 15 minutes every day in 2010: I've been 400 miles from home. So, instead, I spent a good chunk of the drive between the Bay Area and Orange County prioritizing garden projects with Chris, my partner in the garden and beyond, polling the boys about their favorite spring veggies, sketching out a rough plan for the spring vegetable garden and drooling over the online seed catalogs at Seed Savers Exchange and Renee's Garden. I could probably spend the next year contemplating tomatoes and trying to guess when our last frost will be in Castro Valley, since we're not on any chart known to the Internet, but I won't. I promise! Garden work always pulls me out of my head, and keeps me in the here-and-now. Let's get growing!
